Die Trinkschale ruht auf einem profilierten Standring. Zwei horizontale, leicht einwärts gebogene Henkel sind unterhalb des Mündungsrandes angebracht. Innen ist die Schale mit zwei kreisförmigen Zierrillen geschmückt, um die ein Kranz von acht Palmetten mit zwei sich abwechselnden Formen gruppiert ist. Der Palmettendekor wurde in den noch weichen Ton gestempelt. Der grünliche Schimmer des schwarzen Überzugs könnte für eine Herkunft unserer Schale aus Capua sprechen. Sie wird in das 2. Hälfte 4. Jh. v. Chr. datiert.
